Compensation: Competitive

Job Type: 40 hours a week / 12 months a year

Travel: 95% of our projects are within 1 hour of Kingston, PA

Working Foreman are responsible for the day to day operation of multiple projects.  Working Foreman perform various skilled construction activities, while having the ability to coordinate with subcontractors, and have a good understanding of blueprints, specifications, and contracts.  The position is physical, and will frequently involve working outdoors.  Carpentry, and general construction experience is necessary.  Champion will provide PPE, specialized tools, and transportation.

Champion Builders believes in training and promoting employees.  Working Foreman are trained to become On Site Foreman or Project Managers, which provides more skill, compensation, and responsibility.

Working Foreman typically do the following:

  • Carpentry

  • Coordinate with employees and subcontractors to maintain schedules, and quality of workmanship

  • Monitor jobsites for safety

  • Plan and determine efficient methods of performing construction tasks

  • Assist Project Managers with budgeting and job costing and scheduling

  • Coordinate material deliveries

  • Coordinate with Owners, Architects, and Inspectors
